Good morning, I’m here to present Danquilah Solar Venture’s Hybrid Mobile Cold-room, a solution to Nigeria’s milk value chain challenges.
A survey of 112 cow milk stakeholders reveals that lack of electricity, bad roads, and limited feeds hinder quality milk supply. We’re addressing these challenges with hybrid mobile cold-room and solar-powered cold chain solutions. Our hybrid mobile cold-room technology uses CO2 refrigerant, reduces energy consumption, and operates in high temperatures. It improves energy efficiency, reduces ambient temperature, and has a significant GHG emission reduction potential. Our solution contributes to SDG 2 and 7, supports smallholder farmers, and promotes sustainable agriculture. We’re targeting 240,000 liters of milk processing weekly, with projected revenue of $300,000 in the first year, growing to $1.2 million by year three. We appreciate the Transforming Nigeria Youth (TNY) and UNIDO Global Cleantech Innovation (GCIP) Programme’s support and now seek introduction to investors for seed funding to acquire equipment, expand our workstation, and power supply from solar photovoltaic.
